ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —
Another major piece of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts was put into place Wednesday.
The piece is the second to be put in and is the largest portion of the truss that will help support the signature outdoor canopy roof.
The truss will be separated into five pieces and will weigh about 700,000 pounds in total, officials said.
The performing arts center should be completed by 2014.
