VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. —

A 200-pound loggerhead sea turtle that was rescued is now back in the wild.

The turtle, named after Andre the Giant, was released in Ponce Inlet Tuesday afternoon.

Andre was rescued last November when lifeguards and residents spotted him struggling to swim off Ormond Beach.

He had a possible injury from a boat, but made a full recovery at the Volusia County Marine Science Center.
