SANFORD, Fla. —
Sanford police are searching for a man who robbed a motel clerk at gunpoint.
Surveillance video from the Budget Inn on U.S. Route 17-92 shows the man throwing a piece on concrete through the motel's front door.
The man then enters the motel and jumps over the county.
He is seen forcing a woman, at gunpoint to open the register.
The man then jumps back over the counter, climbs through the broken front door and runs away.
Police said the clerk's young son was nearby when the armed robbery took place.
Sanford police ask that anyone with any information about the robbery give them a call.
