Store owner faces charges of selling synthetic marijuana, bath salts

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. —

A Port Orange store owner is facing charges for selling synthetic marijuana and illegal bath salts, police said.

Port Orange police arrested Rakesh Patel. In April, investigators discovered he was selling the illegal drugs at the N&P Discount Beverages Store on Nova Road.

He's charged with possession with the intent to sell and for possession with the intent to sell within one 1,000 feet of a church, according to police.
