MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. —
A man left his truck at a car dealership in Merritt Island only to find a swarm of bees living in it when he returned, officials said.
Employees of the dealership said that hundreds of bees infested the inside of the truck after the owner forgot to roll up his window.
Jimmie Vickers Car Dealership employee Bud Wickline said he witnessed the swarm flying into the truck.
"It looked like a small cloud moving in with a trail behind it with many more bees following it, and we are not sure why they picked that spot," said Wickline.
Another employee said that on three occasions the bees have come to the same spot.
The dealership said it is trying to contact a bee keeper to have them removed.
