Troopers: Woman drove drunk at elementary school

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. —

A woman is out of the Brevard County Jail after state troopers said she drove drunk right outside an elementary school.

Officials said 33-year-old Heather Brodeur only spent about five hours in jail overnight before she bonded out around 2 a.m. Friday.

Troopers said she ran into a gate at Suntree Elementary after school ended Thursday afternoon, then drove over a curb and went the wrong way out of the student pick-up area.

Troopers have not said if Brodeur was picking up a child at the time.

No one was hurt.
