CLERMONT, Fla. —
UCF’s South Lake Campus in Clermont was closed for a short time Thursday evening, according to a UCF representative.
A message was sent to students late Thursday afternoon telling them the campus was closed following a bomb threat.
Later, on the school's website, the message was change to say that the campus was closed due to reports of an odor in the library.
Shortly before 7 p.m. the school said the campus was given the all clear, but classes were canceled for the evening.
The campus will be open as usual on Friday, and all other UCF campuses are on normal schedules Thursday evening. officials said.
The South Lake Campus is shared with Lake-Sumter Community College.
