ORLANDO, Fla. —
Voters in Florida are still waiting to find out which presidential candidate won the state's 29 electoral votes.
Even though President Obama's re-election victory is more than 12 hours old, Florida election officials still hadn't decided Wednesday afternoon which candidate won the state.
Florida was the only state besides Alaska that hadn't released final results.
In Central Florida, Mitt Romney won every county except Osceola and Orange, where President Obama had fewer votes than four years ago, but Romney couldn't close the gap.
Orange County still had 2,500 provisional ballots to verify. That review begins at 10 a.m. Thursday morning.
Osceola Countyfinished counting, but Seminole County still had a few hours of counting.
Lake County still had 300 absentee and provisional ballots to count.
On the coast, Brevard County will review and count its remaining provisional ballots at 9 a.m. Friday, while Marion County had 120 provisional ballots to review on Thursday.
Volusia County did not return our phone calls.
