ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —
A woman was hit by a semi and killed as she crossed Orange Blossom Trail on Tuesday, according to Florida Highway Patrol troopers.
Troopers said the woman walked into the path of the northbound truck, driven by Luis Perez of Kissimmee.
The woman was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center where she died just after noon, troopers said.
Troopers said they are still trying to get a positive identification on the victim.
