BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. —
A former Brevard County wrestling coach accused of molesting boys on an out-of-state trip was arrested in Georgia, WFTV learned Thursday.
John Hackney, 51, was accused of touching two athletes from Astronaut High School in Titusville, while staying at a motel in Georgia, during a return trip from a summer athletic camp.
Investigators said Hackney was arrested on charges of cruelty and molestation of a minor.
Hackney resigned from his job with Brevard County schools, following the accusations.
