Make WFTV Or WRDQ Your Power-On Channel

Your cable box can be set so that each time you turn the television on it will be on your favorite channel. Most cable companies set the default Power-On channel to a station that they have an interest in.

Here’s how you can set your cable box so that your television starts on WFTV, WFTVHD or WRDQ.

How To Set The Power-On Channel To Start On WFTV or WRDQ

On your remote:

• Power up the cable box and television
• Press SETTINGS to display the Quick Settings menu
• Press RIGHT ARROW to move to the Display menu
• Press the UP or DOWN arrows to find the Power-On Channel selection
• Press SELECT
• Press the UP or DOWN arrows to find WFTV on Channel 7, or WFTVHD on Channel 1090, or WRDQ
• Press Select to lock in your selection
• Press EXIT
