Man Accused Of Killing Infant Daughter Found Not Guilty Of 2nd Degree Murder

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —

A man accused of killing his infant daughter was found not guilty of 2nd degree murder. But, he could still face up to 30 years in prison.

20-year-old Noah Redding was pat on the shoulder by his attorney as the verdict was read at the Orange County Courthouse Thursday.

Prosecutors argued Redding's 4-month daughter died because he dropped her and shook her.

The jury found Redding guilty of a lesser charge of manslaughter, aggravated manslaughter and aggravated child abuse.

Redding is still facing up to 30 years in prison for the aggravated manslaughter charge.

He also faces 5 additional years for the aggravated child abuse charge.

He will be sentenced on July 7th.
