Man Shot, Killed Outside Orlando Bar

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —

Orange County Sheriff’s Deputies are trying to find out who shot and killed a man outside of a bar.

Early Sunday morning, investigators searched and questioned eyewitnesses as they left Chito’s Restaurant and Bar on East Colonial Drive.

“We’re going to interview everybody that was here to find out what they can tell us to put this puzzle together” said Orange County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Paul Hopkins.

Neighbors called 911 just after 1:00 Sunday morning to report gunfire. When deputies arrived, they found 31-year-old Jean Paul Torres in the back parking lot with a gunshot wound.

Torres was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he died during surgery.

Witnesses reported seeing a white truck leaving the scene of the shooting. Investigators believe that could be the suspect.
