ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —
MUG SHOTS: 10 Arrested At Orange County Strip ClubVIDEO REPORT:Women Arrested For Dancing Fully Nude
The raid happened late Wednesday night at the Baby Dolls strip club along Orange Blossom Trail (see map). Full nudity is illegal in Orange County and a sign advertising it caught the attention of the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation.
Paul Zambouros is the commander for the MBI and he headed the raid of Baby Dolls overnight.
"We saw the sign. It said, 'Orlando's only nude club,'" he said.
That is an illegal form of advertising. Undercover investigators also found several girls dancing fully nude inside.
Club owner Robert Morgan was arrested for advertising a prohibited activity. Manager Jesse Alma was arrested on charges of public nudity.
Eight other employees, one server and seven dancers, were also arrested. The server was charged with selling alcoholic beverages, which is illegal in a club featuring any nudity, and the dancers were charged with public nudity.
Eyewitness News checked and all ten people arrested had bonded out of jail before noon Thursday. Morgan refused to answer the door at the club to answer questions Thursday.
There are no nude bars in Orange County. The adult entertainment code says no nudity is allowed in public anywhere in the county; that includes all strip clubs and it doesn't matter if the club serves alcohol or not. Most law-abiding clubs force dancers to wear pasties and bottoms.
