AIRPORT SECURITYShould We Relax? How Airport Security WorksPacking Tips From The TSA "We're gonna hire...about 10 percent of our workforce will be part-time. So it'll always be a mix of part-time and full-time," says Charles Lutz, TSA Security Director for OIA.
During the next couple of months, the TSA will select 150 qualified candidates and offer them part-time jobs. Lutz says the added positions will make security checkpoints more efficient.
"Obviously, our first priority is security, but we also try to balance that with good customer service," he says.
