Police: Man Arrested After Laptop, Child Porn Found In Car

TITUSVILLE, Fla. —

An elaborate computer system was found inside a car and Titusville police said the man who owned it was using it to view child pornography.

Police arrested 34-year-old Scott Albert Saunders on Sunday after a routine traffic stop. That's when officers discovered the mobile computer center inside his car.

"At the time the officer stopped him, he found that he had been viewing child porn on a laptop set-up," explained Detective Gary Boyer, Titusville Police Department.

He also had a portable printer. Police said Saunders admitted to having more than 1,000 images of small children in sexually explicit poses and the kids were all under the age of 16.

Police found more disturbing equipment inside the car, cameras they said Saunders used to take pictures of children and their parents at local stores, parks and a laundromat. Some of the images showed children trying on new shoes inside the Titusville Wal-Mart where Saunders worked.

Technically, the images are not illegal, but police want to know if Saunders had contact with any of the children he watched so carefully from his car.

Saunders was booked in the Brevard County jail for possession of child pornography. Additional charges are pending.
