Police said it started with a fight among the three men outside the Denny's on South Semoran Boulevard just after 2:00am, but they said things quickly escalated (see map).

"Witnesses say there was some sort of altercation. The three males appeared to be arguing or shoving one another,” said Lt. Arthur Eld, of the Orlando Police Department.

Police said the victim was shot and killed.

"First units on the scene found a male with an apparent gunshot wound,” said Eld.

Eyewitnesses said they heard the shooting and saw the two suspects speed off.

"Witnesses in the parking lot said that a white vehicle fled southbound out of the parking lot,” said Eld.

Police chased the suspected gunmen and arrested them just four miles from the Denny’s.

Inside their car, police said they found a case of beer and a gun. Police said the two suspects are at police headquarters being questioned.

Witnesses said the men were not eating at the restaurant, and employees said the men pulled into the parking lot and began fighting.

The victim has not yet been identified, but police said he is a Hispanic male. Police have not yet released the names of the suspects.

The medical examiner is working to identify the victim. Charges are pending.
