Police Search For Winter Park Attacker

Winter Park police are investigating an attempted robbery and stabbing that happened along Park Avenue Saturday night. According to the victim, he and his friend were behind the Park Plaza Gardens restaurant when they were approached by two suspects who demanded money and stabbed him in the chest.

The victim made his way into the restaurant to get help. He was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center in serious condition.

A manager with the Park Plaza Gardens said the victim was in his late 20s or early 30s and had eaten at his restaurant before. His name has not been released.

The suspects were last seen fleeing the scene in a westerly direction, but officers were not able to find them.
