Police Try To Identify Body Found In Sanford

Authorities in Seminole County are trying to figure out who a man was and how he died after his badly decomposed body was found near an apartment complex in Sanford. A passer-by notified officers on Saturday about the body.

The body was hidden in tall weeds, near west 25th Street and Hartwell Avenue.

Deputies believe he had been there for a few days. They have no missing-persons reports that match up to his description.
