Investigators said prostitutes were putting ads on Craigslist.org trying lure potential customers to local hotels. Undercover deputies were arranging meetings with the women and busting them when they show up.

Rafael Malong, Amanda McIntosh and Jotryce Trujillo were all arrested for prostitution this week along I-Drive. Deputies said I-Drive is a hotspot for solicitation, especially during the builder's show.

"Well this is a huge convention, so I'm not surprised. It's predominantly men who come, so I'm sure that would be a typical target," said one convention participant.

Malong, McIntosh, Trujillo mug Escorts typically place ads on websites like Craigslist.org in the 'females seeking men' section, promising things like "mysterious and sexy" as one ad said. Another escort service advertised a "guaranteed good time for your time and money".

Undercover deputies have been going online to make arrangements to meet the escorts and bust them. Investigators said Rafael Malong is a man posing as a woman.

"Well they say it's the oldest business there is, so I'm not too surprised," said Tony Goldman, a convention participant.

Deputies said that prostitution is just one of the stings they were working on during the builder's show. Deputies said they have made dozens of drug and traffic arrests as well.
