I began my broadcast career as a radio news reporter and anchor in Montreal, Quebec where I sharpened my French language skills. I covered a wide range of stories from the 1993 Stanley Cup riots to visits of Queen Elizabeth the Second.
robert action b Robert Maxwell My foray into television began at Canada's Weather Network where I co-hosted a live, regional morning show in Toronto. From there, I made my way back to my hometown of Ottawa, Ontario, where I was the main anchor of CHUM Television's evening newscasts and made regular appearances on network newscasts.
Before venturing into the American television market, I also spent two years honing my storytelling abilities at Toronto1, where I was senior reporter and back up anchor for its nationally recognized news magazine program.
I graduated from Carleton University's Journalism program in Canada's capital of Ottawa.
My charitable work has included Big Brothers and Meals On Wheels. In my down time, I enjoy reading, working out and discovering new cafes and jazz clubs.
