Superintendent Ron Blocker and his staff were celebrating becoming an A-rated district, but a sign behind him caught a lot of people's attention. The poster read: "Orange County Public Schools Intial Results." An "i" was missing from the word "initial."

The school district wouldn't go on camera to explain how it happened. A spokesperson said over the phone that it was an error made by the graphics department, which is responsible for producing the posters.

The spokesperson said they consider it an unfortunate mistake and they're not comfortable with it; everyone was so busy preparing for Tuesday's press conference that they didn't notice the mistake.

Eyewitness News went to Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando on Wednesday and found some parents with children in Orange County public schools, and some whose children will soon be in the district, who couldn't believe the kind of mistake would happen.

"Oh, yea, that's kind of pathetic. You think there would be more checks in place to have somebody edit it," said parent Allison Williams.

"Doesn't surprise me, it's a public school education. To me that's, that's, I mean nothing surprises me anymore. That doesn't," said parent Dave Giovanni.

Everyone that Eyewitness News showed the video had no problem at all pointing out the mistake on the poster. They said it's a horrible mistake that's very obvious and should've been caught.
