ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —
Investigators said they are searching for the suspect who shot a man in the Richmond Heights area of Orange County Saturday morning.
According to investigators, the shooting happened shortly before 10 a.m. near Ivey Lane and W. Gore Street. The victim was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Following the shooting, deputies surrounded a home near the scene where the suspects were believed to be. Officials said the incident sparked a short standoff, but deputies determined the individuals inside were not involved in the shooting.
Deputies are still looking for the suspect. They have not released a suspect description or the victim's identity.
