State Warns Of Chinese Drywall Scammers

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. —

Scam artists are trying to sell homeowners bogus products to test for tainted Chinese drywall.

Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum says scammers are marketing test kits which cost thousands of dollars, and most of the kits do not work.

Other criminals are calling people claiming to be drywall inspectors and selling quick fixes.
