OCALA, Fla. —
According to Ocala.com, Aaron told reporters on Wednesday that while she was on her patio, her son stood roughly 10 yards away with his hands in the air. Aaron says the officer, Cpl. Dustin Keuntjes, entered the yard with the dog, and once he was close to her, released the dog on her son.
Police say they were looking for Jeffery Aaron because he had a warrant for a driving infraction. He was transported to Munroe Regional Medical Center for injuries, then taken to Marion County Jail, where he was charged with resisting without violence.
The Ocala Police Department says a use-of-force report will be completed by the officer and reviewed by department officials.
