I am WFTV's Action 9 Reporter. Our consumer unit at WFTV handles hundreds of complaints from Central Florida consumers every month. Our Action 9 investigations expose consumer frauds, rip-offs, and scams that can cost you a small fortune.

A recent investigation revealed how a prominent national charity based in Central Florida misled its donors. Other Action 9 investigations have exposed a nationwide modeling scandal based in Orlando, restaurants that routinely violated food safety rules, and contractors who put your home at risk.

todd action b Todd Ulrich My consumer investigations have won 11 regional Emmy awards for television excellence including two Emmys in 2003 for a half hour special, "The Action Files." I also received several awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Associated Press.

I graduated from Ithaca College after growing up in a small town in Pennsylvania. I worked for several radio and television stations in Pennsylvania and New York, but have called Orlando and WFTV my home for the past 20 years.
