Two Teens Dead In DeLand Murder-Suicide

The bodies of a teenage boy and girl were found on the front porch of a DeLand home Friday night in what police believe was a murder-suicide.

Police responded to the 500-block of West May Street after getting a call that someone had been shot. Upon arrival they found the bodies of the couple and a small-frame revolver nearby.

The two were identified as 17-year-old Natasha La' May Hall, who lived at the house, and 19-year-old Daniel Clayton Kufer, who was also from DeLand.

A DeLand police commander indicated that the two were boyfriend and girlfriend.

The investigation into the shooting was continuing on Saturday.
