Police: Two arrested after meth lab found in Daytona Beach


DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Police said a man and a woman are facing charges after a meth lab was found in a home in Daytona Beach Saturday morning.

Investigators said they received an anonymous report of a meth lab inside of a home at 1301 Peachtree Road in Daytona Beach.

Officers responded to the home around 8:30 a.m. Saturday and said they found a small, inactive meth lab inside.

A man and woman living at the home were subsequently arrested, police said. The suspects were identified as Melinda Starkey, 25, and Michael Hallahan, 31.

Police said Starkey was charged with manufacturing and possessing meth, while Hallahan was charged with possessing meth. Both were booked into the Volusia County jail.
