Postal worker accused of stealing gift cards from mail

MARION COUNTY, Fla. — A Marion County postal worker is accused of stealing several gift cards from mail that he handled, according to court documents.

Gregg Morgan, 45, is a U.S. Postal Service employee and allegedly stole the gift cards between October and December of 2012.

According to Morgan's indictment, he stole a total of six gift cards from the mail. All of the gift cards were for restaurants like Outback Steakhouse, Ruby Tuesday and Cheesecake Factory.

Morgan has been charged with six counts of embezzlement.
