Prayer ribbons in honor of Pulse shooting victims sent to Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. — Prayer ribbons recognizing Pulse shooting victims were sent to Orlando from residents of Provincetown, Massachusetts.

In response to the Pulse shooting, the Provincetown Community Compact recently memorialized the 49 victims at a special ceremony.

“We are honored to share this memorial strand of prayer ribbons with the families and the community of Orlando,” said Jay Critchley, Compact founder and director.

A news release said the town shares a “kinship with the Orlando community and honor your strength and resilience.”

The ribbons will be placed at Leu Gardens until Nov. 27, and then they will be moved to Orlando City Hall.
