MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police in Memphis, Tennessee, confirmed that a baby was thrown a vehicle in Southeast Memphis during a domestic dispute between the child's mother and father early Wednesday morning.
It happened around 3 a.m. in the 3100 block of Amber Leaf Lane after the child's father fired a shot at the mother. The woman was trying to get away from the man when the baby fell out of her car as she was trying to leave the home.
The mother accidentally ran over the 1-year-old, and the child was immediately rushed to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in critical condition.
The mother is also suffering injuries from the domestic assault.
