7 things to know now: Istanbul death toll rises; Mega Millions; NRA ad; Lena Dunham

What to know now:

1. Istanbul attack: At least three suicide attackers exploded bombs at the Ataturk Airport in Istanbul, Turkey, Tuesday,  killing 41 and injuring more than 140. While no one has claimed responsibility for the massacre, terrorism experts say all signs point to an Islamic State attack. Air traffic, which had been suspended for a time on Tuesday, has returned to its normal schedule at the airport, the 11th busiest in the world. According to Turkish officials, 23 Turkish citizens and 13 foreign nationals are among dead.

2. No winner: No ticket matched all the winning numbers in the $390 million Mega Millions jackpot. The jackpot for the next drawing – on Friday – sits now at $415 million.

3. NRA ad: The National Rifle Association has purchased advertising time to air a 30-second spot  featuring a survivor of the 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya. Mark Geist, a Marine Corps veteran and security contractor, was in Benghazi the night of the attacks and fought to try to save those at the diplomatic compound. The spot is entitled, "Stop Clinton, Vote Trump.

4. Day's out: Jason Day,  the world's top golfer, announced Tuesday that he would not be competing in the Summer Olympics over concerns about the Zika virus. Day, who won last year's PGA Championship, is the latest to pull out of the Rio Games. Rory McIlroy announced last week that he would not be participating in the games.

5. Cancer summits: Summits on cancer care and research will be held across the country on Wednesday as Vice President Joe Biden's "Cancer Moonshot" imitative gets under way. The vice president and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, will host a national summit at Howard University in Washington where  innovations in the fight against cancer will be discussed. There are some 260 local events planned around the United States at the same time. The Bidens lost their son, Beau, to brain cancer last year.

Lena Dunham, the creator of the HBO series "Girls," says she is "disturbed" by Kanye West's new "Famous" music video, finding it "sickening" for his portrayal of women. Dunham blasted West in a post on Facebook Monday, saying West's video was "one of the more disturbing 'artistic' efforts in recent memory." The video features nude or nearly-nude look-alikes of famous people lying in bed with West and his wife, Kim Kardashian. Dunham wrote, "Now I have to see the prone, unconscious, waxy bodies of famous women, twisted like they've been drugged and chucked aside at a rager? It gives me such a sickening sense of dis-ease."
