Chance the Rapper wants people to see “Marshall,” starring Chadwick Boseman in the title role of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, so fervently that he bought out screenings at two theaters Friday.
"Go see Marshall for free today," he urged audiences in his hometown, Chicago, in a social media post.

He also hinted that he would join moviegoers for the 3 p.m. showing, although he did not say at which theater.
"It's all day, but the later it gets, the more people talk about it, the more seats get filled, but yeah come to the one at 3. I'm good at surprises and stuff," he said.
