Comparing Stephen Curry's mouthpiece throw to Udonis Haslem's mouthpiece throw

After fouling out in the fourth quarter of Game 6 of the NBA Finals, Stephen Curry lost his cool. The Golden State guard yelled at the referee and chucked his mouthpiece in frustration.

The only problem is that Curry's mouthpiece hit a fan sitting courtside. The mouthpiece hit the son of one of the Cavaliers' minority owners, according to ESPN. Here's video of the incident involving Curry.

The question is, will Curry be suspended for Game 7 for throwing a mouthpiece that hit a fan?

Heat fans remember that Udonis Haslem was suspended a game for throwing his mouthpiece in the 2006 playoffs. But there’s one big difference, Haslem hit referee Joey Crawford with his mouthpiece. Here’s video of Haslem’s throw …

The fact that Curry’s mouthpiece didn’t touch a referee will probably save him from a suspension, but he’s still expected to face a fine.
