According to NWF Daily News, a man in Crestview, Florida, was picked up from his home by a driver from the Git-Er-Dun taxi service. During the trip, the man asked the driver to take him to several banks.

The first stop was an Eglin Federal Credit Union, where the man made the driver wait 20 minutes while he was inside the credit union.

The second destination was a Wells Fargo Bank, a $10 trip, and again the man made the driver wait, only this time the wait lasted two hours, resulting in a $20 fee.

After a trip a BBVA Compass Bank, the driver told the man he wouldn’t take him anywhere else and asked him to pay the fare. He claimed that the money he needed to pay for the rides was back at the Wells Fargo Bank.

When the police arrived, the man told them about the money being at the bank, but later showed officers a receipt that showed his balance to be minus $100.

He was arrested a charged with petty theft.
