LAKELAND, Fla. — Police are searching for a Florida woman who they believe stole a credit card and used it to buy more than $11,000 worth of plastic surgery.
Lakeland police said Nyaira Thomas, 20, of Lake Wales, bought breast implants, a butt lift and lip injections all on another woman's dime, WFTS reported.
The credit card belongs to a woman from Illinois who had no idea her identity was stolen, according to police.
Thomas had the procedures done last month in Lakeland, where she used the Illinois woman’s identification to fill out a credit application, Lakeland police said.
Thomas then used a friend’s address in Lake Wales on the application so her mother wouldn’t find out about the breast implants, according to WFTS.
She is wanted for charges including forgery and grand theft over $10,000.
