The necklace is 18-karat gold and engraved with the initials VC, which belonged to Virginia Estelle McDowell Clark, according to press release.

Virginia and her husband, Walter Miller Clark, were celebrating a belated honeymoon on the doomed Titanic, but only Virginia made it off the “Ship of Dreams,” the press release said.

The locket and four other artifacts including gambling chips and a cuff link were found in 1994, according to the press release.

They will be displayed April 12 inside the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas to commemorate the 105th anniversary of the Titanic.

“It’s especially exciting when we can link specific artifacts to passengers of the Titanic as it is extremely rare,” said Alexandra Klingelhofer, vice president of collections for Premier Exhibitions.
