ORLANDO, Fla. - R&B superstar Robin Thicke, the popular singer behind the mega-hits “Blurred Lines” and “Lost Without You,” will perform live in concert at Universal Orlando Resort’s 2014 Mardi Gras Celebration – the biggest, most authentic Mardi Gras celebration outside of New Orleans.
Also performing at next year’s event is The Wanted, the UK pop sensation who stars in the E! reality show The Wanted Life and whose hits include “Glad You Came” and “Chasing the Sun.”
Next spring, the biggest Mardi Gras bash this side of the bayou will take place at Universal Studios Florida with more concerts than ever before. For a total of 20 select nights from February 8 through May 31, guests will enjoy an authentic family-friendly version of the iconic “N’awlins” street party featuring a colorful parade, delectable Cajun cuisine, authentic New Orleans bands and live performances by some of the biggest names in music today.
Robin Thicke will perform on February 22 and The Wanted will take the stage on May 10. The full Mardi Gras 2014 concert lineup and event details, including the parade theme, will be announced at a later date.
