CENTRAL FLORIDA —

It's cold in Central Florida Wednesday!

WFTV meteorologist Brian Shields says, "After our 30s and 40s Wednesday morning, we’ll bump up to the upper 60s. That is still sweatshirt or light jacket weather. But we aren’t done with the chill quite yet."

According to Shields, it will be in the 40s again for most of Central Florida Wednesday night.

The temperature will be in the 30s possibly in Marion and Sumter counties, and that is where Central Florida could see some frost by Thursday morning.

By Thursday afternoon, a warming trend will move in and we’ll be back to the 70s.
