TD 8 Weakens Into Tropical Wave
MIAMI —
Tropical Depression 8 weakened to a tropical wave Saturday afternoon and is not expected to restrengthen.
TD 8: Computer Models | Forecast Path
At 5:00pm, the center of the remnants of Tropical Depression 8 were located about 795 miles west-northwest of the Cape Verde Islands.
The remnants of the depression are moving toward the northwest near 13 mph and this general motion should continue with some decrease in forward speed during the next couple of days.
Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph, with higher gusts.
