Redskins' Daniels Out For Season

(Sports Network) - Washington Redskins defensive end Phillip Daniels will miss the 2008 season after tearing a left knee ligament Sunday during the first practice of training camp.

The 13-year veteran was carted off the field after the first play of 7-on-7 drills.

Daniels appeared in 15 games last season with the Redskins, totaling 37 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks.
