Broncos Deal G Holland To Dallas

Thursday, August 28, 2008

(Sports Network) - The Denver Broncos have traded guard Montrae Holland to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Dallas was in need of a guard after Kyle Kosier suffered a foot injury that could keep him sidelined for at least a month.

Holland signed with Denver as an unrestricted free agent on March 5, 2007 and started all 16 games last season.

The 28-year-old Florida State product spent his first four NFL seasons with the New Orleans Saints. He has started 46 of his 68 games.
