Chiefs QB Croyle Out For Week 2

Tuesday, September 9, 2008

(Sports Network) - Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Brodie Croyle will miss next week's game against Oakland with a separated shoulder, the team announced on Monday.

Croyle left Sunday's 17-10 loss to the New England Patriots late in the third quarter after he was slammed into the ground on a sack.

Damon Huard, who replaced Croyle under center in the New England game, will start next week's home game against the Raiders.

Croyle went 11-of-19 for 88 yards, then Huard finished 8-of-12 for 118 yards and KC's lone touchdown, a 13-yard strike to Dwayne Bowe in the New England game.
