Vikes Sign Thomas, Put Radovich On IR

Monday, October 13, 2008

(Sports Network) - The Minnesota Vikings signed linebacker Dontarrious Thomas on Monday.

Thomas had played with the Vikings in each of the last four seasons, but tried to hook on with the San Francisco 49ers this year as a free agent. The Niners let him go at the end of August, but Minnesota worked Thomas out two weeks ago in case injuries to the defense piled up.

To make room on the roster, the Vikings placed offensive lineman Drew Radovich on injured reserve.
