Giants Make Coaching Changes

(Sports Network) - New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin announced changes to his coaching staff on Monday.

Dave Merritt moved from defensive assistant to assistant secondary coach, working with the safeties.

Tom Quinn became the team's assistant special teams coach, after coaching special teams for four years at Stanford. He also worked with the tight ends in 2002 and 2003 and the outside linebackers in 2004 and 2005.

Andre Curtis was named defensive quality control coach. He coached the defensive ends at Georgia Southern the last two campaigns.
