Report: Giants To Sign Snee To Lucrative Extension

Tuesday, June 24, 2008

(Sports Network) - The New York Giants have agreed to sign star right guard Chris Snee to a six-year contract extension, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

The newspaper did not reveal monetary terms but reported that Snee will become one of the top five highest-paid players at his position.

The 26-year-old Boston College product, who is the son-in-law of Giants coach Tom Coughlin, has started 59 of 64 games over his first four seasons for the team, including 48 consecutive. He also started all four postseason games for the Super Bowl champion Giants last season.
