Seahawks' Engram To Miss Opener

Monday, August 11, 2008

(Sports Network) - Seattle Seahawks veteran wide receiver Bobby Engram will miss up to two months with a cracked bone in his shoulder.

Engram could be back as early as six weeks and the team will keep him on the final 53-man roster.

The 35-year-old sustained the injury on a reception in last Friday's preseason game.

Last season, Engram set a franchise record with 94 catches.

The Penn State product signed with Seattle in 2001 after spending the first five seasons of his career with Chicago.
