Jags Sign DT Lewis, Waive RB Giles

Jacksonville, FL -- (Sports Network) - The Jacksonville Jaguars signed veteran defensive tackle Jonathan Lewis and waived rookie running back Lavarus Giles on Thursday, the team's final day of training camp.Lewis, 24, was a member of the Oakland Raiders practice squad in 2007 and spent time with Seattle and Detroit last season. The second-year player saw time in four games with the Cardinals as a rookie after being selected in the sixth round of the 2006 draft by Arizona. Giles was signed as a rookie free agent by Jacksonville on June 11.
