Friday, July 4, 2008

(Sports Network) - The Vancouver Canucks added another free agent on Friday with the signing of center Mark Cullen. Per club policy, financial terms were not disclosed.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Cullen did not play in the NHL last season, spending 59 games with Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League, where he compiled 16 goals and 31 assists.

The 29-year-old has registered seven goals and nine assists in 32 games with the Chicago Blackhawks and Philadelphia Flyers over his career.

A native of Moorhead, Minnesota, Cullen was a member of the U.S. National Team for the 2006 IIHF World Championships.
