Blues Ink Winchester

(Sports Network) - The St. Louis Blues signed free agent forward Brad Winchester on Wednesday.

The 28-year-old played in 41 games for the Dallas Stars last season when he tallied a goal and two assists. Winchester also suited up for six playoff games with Dallas last season.

In 119 NHL affairs with Edmonton and Dallas, the Wisconsin product has posted five goals and eight helpers.

Winchester was selected with the 35th overall pick in the 2000 NHL Draft by Edmonton.

Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby was named NHL's First Star for the week ending November 30 and goaltenders Jonas Hiller of Anaheim and Chris Mason from St. Louis joined him on the 'Three Stars' list.
